The Institute Incubation and Innovation Council (I3C) at the Indian Institute of Technology Jammu (IIT Jammu), has entered into a strategic academic collaboration with Skill-Lync to offer certificate courses focused on future mobility engineering, addressing the rapid transformation underway in India’s automotive sector. Through this partnership, Skill-Lync will introduce a portfolio of future-focused learning programs combining academic depth with exposure to modern industry practices.

The collaboration brings together IIT Jammu’s academic rigour and research-led approach with Skill-Lync’s industry-validated curriculum design, aiming to create learning experiences that retain strong engineering fundamentals while reflecting how mobility engineering is practised today across EV, electronics, and software-driven platforms.

Globally, automotive electronics and software are key enablers of EVs and SDVs, with the automotive electronics market alone projected to grow from around USD 280 billion in 2024 to over USD 468 billion by 2030. As vehicles become more intelligent and software-defined, demand continues to rise for engineers who can operate at the intersection of hardware, software, and systems engineering.

IIT Jammu continues to strengthen its academic and research ecosystem with a focus on contemporary engineering challenges, emphasising applied learning, industry relevance, and real-world exposure.

A senior representative from I3C-IIT Jammu said, “At I3C-IIT Jammu, we remain committed to advancing engineering excellence and contributing meaningfully to India’s technology ecosystem. Collaborating with Skill-Lync allows us to support well-structured initiatives aligned with the evolving needs of the mobility and automotive sector.”

Interested candidates can apply for these certificate programmes through both Skill-Lync’s official platform and IIT Jammu’s course listings. To support early learners and encourage wider participation, Skill-Lync is offering introductory scholarship benefits for eligible applicants.
