The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA), along with the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), and the Indian School of Business (ISB), is going to host the 2nd edition of the India Strategy Conference (ISC 2024), from December 15 to 18, 2024, at the IIM Ahmedabad campus.
With the rising integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), particularly Machine Learning (ML) and data-driven techniques, in the decision-making processes of organisations, ISC 2024 is being held on the theme of “Strategizing in an AI-Dominated World”. The conference aims to bring together researchers, educators, and managers to a common platform for discussing issues, opportunities, and the transformative impact AI technologies present in the decision-making processes.
The four-day event, which is expecting a footfall of about 200 participants, will have six parallel tracks:
1) Conference Theme: Strategizing in an AI-dominated world
2) Environment, Society and Governance (ESG) and Non-Market Strategy
3) Internationalisation and Global Strategy
4) Technology, Innovation, and Digital Transformation
5) Family Business and Entrepreneurship
6) Leadership and Human Capital
In addition to keynote speeches and more than 170 paper and poster presentations, the conference will host a variety of pre-conference workshops and interactive sessions for professional development. These include research methods workshops for early-stage researchers, a panel discussion of academic leaders from Indian and overseas business schools, a panel discussion of editors from top international journals, and practitioner sessions by top executives to give insights on contemporary issues in the world of practice, and career talks. The conference will also feature industry leaders and experts as a part of the CII-CSO Forum Strategy Conference to be organised on the December 16, 2024.
