The IC3 Regional Conference, South Asia—the only Regional Conference being held in India this year—will take place on 23–24 January 2026 at O.P. Jindal Global University. Centered on the theme “Looking Deeply – From Information to Insight,” this first-of-its-kind residential experience offers educators a unique opportunity to reconnect, reflect, and engage with the larger IC3 community in a deeply personal way. Designed as an immersive, participatory experience, this conference moves beyond the structure of conventional professional events. The two-day program will combine insightful sessions, hands-on workshops, and dialogue with government and industry leaders, alongside well-being experiences such as guided meditation and reflection circles. This integrated approach bridges education, employability, and emotional wellness, reinforcing IC3’s mission to strengthen the culture of counseling in schools and empower educators to guide with empathy, self-awareness, and purpose. Registrations are now open.
Replacing the annual Regional Forums, it creates an open and reflective space for counselors, principals, teachers, and university representatives to address the evolving needs of today’s learners and the rapidly changing education landscape. The Regional Conference builds on the momentum of IC3’s wider community, including the 2025 Annual IC3 Conference & Expo in Mumbai, where 1,729 participants from 42 countries gathered, including 1,065 high school delegates, 458 university delegates, and 206 organizational representatives, of which 903 were first-time participants. Replacing the Regional Forums for this year, it is the only Regional Conference taking place in India and is not merely an extension of the Annual Conference. This immersive platform allows educators to reflect, engage with peers and experts, and strengthen connections across the broader IC3 network.
When we first started organizing events, people would come, attend sessions, and leave. But the real magic of learning and connection happens when you’re fully immersed — sharing rooms, meals, conversations, and ideas. That’s the spirit behind the IC3 Regional Conference: creating an immersive environment that’s beyond attending a lecture. The ‘Back to School’ concept is about being fully present, making deep connections, and learning in a way that stays with you.” – said Ganesh Kohli, Founder of the IC3 Movement
Prof. Mahanta, Dean, Admissions and Outreach, O.P. Jindal Global University said, “The IC3 Regional Conference provides a timely and significant platform for educators to collaborate, reflect on their practices, and engage with innovative approaches to student guidance. In an education landscape that is evolving at an unprecedented pace, such immersive forums play a crucial role in equipping educators with the knowledge and tools necessary to nurture the next generation of change-makers. We are delighted to host this regional conference on JGU campus and look forward to advancing our shared commitment to fostering deep learning, meaningful exchange of ideas, and a renewed focus to the holistic development of students.”
