Hyderabad Institute of Technology and Management (HITAM) is launching its International 3+1+1 Integrated Twinning Program—an innovative pathway designed to give students not just a degree, but a truly global learning experience. The program is anchored by partnerships with prestigious universities including the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE), the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH), and George Mason University (GMU).
This program offers students the chance to spend three years studying at HITAM in India and then transition seamlessly to a top international university for their final undergraduate year and one additional year of master’s studies. On successful completion, students will proudly hold a B. Tech from JNTUH and a Master’s degree from a globally renowned university—a powerful combination that sets them apart in the competitive global job market.
These collaborations open doors for students to immerse themselves in diverse academic cultures, gain global exposure, and fast-track their professional journeys in ways traditional MS programs simply cannot match. Graduates of the program will be eligible for up to 3 years of work in the U.S. through the Optional Practical Training (OPT) route. Plus, with scholarships and financial aid options available, this program is not only transformative—it is accessible and affordable.
“This program not only offers global exposure but also transcends traditional learning by emphasizing student-centered approaches like project-based learning. Through the Twinning Program, students will gain international academic experience while developing essential qualities such as critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving qualities that are indispensable for future leaders and innovators in engineering and beyond.”, added Dr. BVR Mohan Reddy.
