The E. Sreedharan Centre for Life Skills Education at the Central University of Kerala launched its fourth batch of the Postgraduate Diploma in Life Skills Education (PGDLSE). Vice Chancellor (i/c) Prof. Joseph Koyippally inaugurated the batch at a ceremony held at the Nilagiri Guest House. During his address, Prof. Koyippally emphasized the importance of acquiring life skills to excel in life and work in the modern era.
Registrar Dr. M. Muralidharan Nambiar, Controller of Examinations Dr. R. Jayaprakash, Head of the Department of Education Prof. V.P. Joshith, Centre Director Prof. M.N. Musthafa, Dr. R. Chandrabose, Dr. Seema Chandran, and C. Pushpalatha also spoke on the occasion.
This year, 100 candidates from diverse professional backgrounds, including teachers, journalists, lawyers, doctors, public servants, and retired officers, have enrolled in the 12-month, two-semester program. The curriculum focuses on practical and interactive learning, covering key areas such as Individual Skills, Social Skills, Employability Skills, Professional Skills, Training Skills, and Coping Skills. The PGDLSE program is open to graduates from any recognized university, aiming to enhance personal and professional development through structured training in life skills.
