Leading cement brand, JK Cement in a statement said on Aug 5 that it has constructed of 250 ramps in various government schools in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan under  ‘Banaye Har Raah Aasaan’ initiative.

JK Cement’s program to ensure that every single child gets the opportunity to access their right to education, thereby fostering an inclusive academic ecosystem is in  commemoration of the first death anniversary of JK Cement’s Late CMD, Shri Yadupati Singhania who passed away on 13th August 2020.

Talking about this initiative, Dr. Raghavpat Singhania, Managing Director, JK Cement said “Our Late CMD, Shri Yadupati Singhania Ji has been an inspiration for all of us. A beacon of hope, humility and compassion, Late Shri Yadupati Ji truly believed that every child has a right to education. It was his dream to make education accessible to each one of them. Our late CMD’s humble thoughts nurtured JK Cement into an organisation that not only continues to grow but gives back selflessly to the society. Through this CSR initiative, we hope to keep Yadupati Ji’s thoughts alive and to carry forward his legacy.”

JK Cement’s commitment of inclusive education aligns with the Government’s National Education Policy which targets at ensuring equal and inclusive education to all students by making all educational buildings and facilities wheelchair-accessible and disabled-friendly.

Sh Madhavkrishna Singhania, Deputy Managing Director and CEO reiterated, “In one way we can say, Rajasthan is home for the JK Cement organization. We set up our first cement plant in Nimbehera, Rajasthan in 1975. We have a strong relationship with Rajasthan since then and believe we must give back to society and its future. Children are the future of the nation and each child deserves to be educated so that they can carve out a better tomorrow for themselves. To make education more accessible and inclusive for all, we shall undertake many such initiatives in the future.”
