Under25, a youth-focused network, hosted its Summit At Campus (SAC) at BNMIT, Bengaluru, on November 5, bringing together students for an immersive on-campus cultural and edutainment experience.
Creator-turned-actor Bhuvan Bam, who was invited to interact with students, perform and share insights from his journey, spoke about his latest project, Dhindora S2. Reflecting on his transition from YouTube to larger entertainment platforms, he highlighted how every phase of a creator’s journey brings its own opportunities and challenges.
Bam shared how spontaneous ideas and improvisations often shape his work, encouraging students to trust their creative instincts. While acknowledging YouTube for providing the platform, audience and opportunities that helped build his career, he emphasised the importance of evolving, experimenting and exploring new formats as an artist.
“If you are a creator and call yourself an artist, you aren’t dependent on any single platform. Aap kahin bhi jaake bawaal macha sakte ho,” he told the students.
In a candid moment, Bam revealed that he dislikes referring to his audience as fans. “First of all, I hate this word – fans. These are all my friends,” he said.
He spoke about the importance of accessibility and maintaining a connection with audiences, explaining how he makes an effort to interact with people whenever he meets them in public.
Speaking about the SAC at BNMIT, Jeel Gandhi, CEO, Under25, said, “Today’s generation doesn’t want to be defined by any one conventional archetype. They want to explore multiple areas that interest them deeply and are very future-focused. Having someone as multifaceted as Bhuvan Bam, alongside creators like Sharanya, Harmanpreet, Abhinay, and Poorav, who cut across diverse creative fields like comedy, music or fitness, reflected this attitude perfectly. With them onstage, this SAC not only gave students a glimpse of the multiple paths and opportunities available out there but also the confidence to choose neither and create their own path because they have limitless potential to do so.”
True to the SAC format, the event moved beyond the conventional college-fest experience, blending conversations, performances and student-led segments that celebrated youth culture and creative expression.
The lineup also featured popular creators Sharanya, Poodup, Harman and Abhinay.
SACs are licensed and entirely student-run through Under25’s nationwide fellowship network, providing students with hands-on experience in event programming, partnerships and leadership.
