Mohan Babu University (MBU), Tirupati has launched MBU Online, an online education platform offering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for students, working professionals & entrepreneurs. Backed by the university’s Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), MBU Online offers five programmes across management, commerce and computer applications – MBA, MCA, BBA, BCA and BCom.
MBU Online is designed to include live interactive classes conducted on weekends, more than 400 hours of pre-recorded video resources, online examinations with AI-powered proctoring and digital academic support through its Learning Management System (LMS). The platform will also provide access to digital repositories featuring thousands of journals, e-books and research papers, along with tools for virtual labs and hands-on projects.
Speaking about the initiative, Vinay Maheshwari, Executive Director and Trustee, MBU, said, “The launch of MBU Online marks an important step in extending MBU’s academic offering to learners at different stages of their education and careers. Our focus is to bring together academic learning, industry relevance and professional development within a structured digital learning environment. Whether it is building a strong foundation through an undergraduate programme or developing specialised skills through postgraduate education, we want learners to be able to connect what they study with where they want to go professionally.”
MBU Online is backed by the academic foundation of Mohan Babu University, a State Private University established under the Andhra Pradesh State Private Universities Act with A+ NAAC accreditation.
