Four athletes from Marwadi University have been selected to represent Team India at the Asian Games 2026, scheduled to be held in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, from September 19 to October 4, 2026. The selected athletes including Sunil Kumar, Nitesh Siwach, Sagar Jaglan and Parveen Hooda, will compete across wrestling and boxing, carrying India’s hopes onto the continental sporting stage.
Sunil Kumar will compete in Greco-Roman wrestling in the 87 kg category; Nitesh Siwach in Greco-Roman wrestling in the 97 kg category; Sagar Jaglan will represent India in freestyle wrestling in the 74 kg category; and Parveen Hooda, who will compete in women’s boxing in the 65 kg category.
