Revathi Srinivasan, director of Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania School and the group dean of Singhania Schools, has authored a book titled, ‘Creating Classrooms Where Every Child Belongs’ and published by Harper Learning, an imprint of HarperCollins India. The book highlighting the importance of creating inclusive learning environments for students, was recently launched by Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Eknath Shinde.
Drawing from her own experiences as an educator, Creating Classrooms Where Every Child Belongs brings together real-life stories from classrooms to show how small moments of empathy, encouragement and inclusion can have a lasting impact on a child’s life. Talking about the book, author Revathi Srinivasan says, “This book challenges us to rethink leadership: the greatest lessons are not found in structures or systems but in children and in the simple, profound act of making every child feel, “I belong here.”’
The book is about radical inclusion. Rooted in the powerful belief that belonging is the foundation of becoming, it reimagines leadership, learning and human connection through the eyes of the most overlooked thought leaders of all—children, who, with their unfiltered honesty and instinctive curiosity, challenge norms, expose biases and spark breakthroughs.
