The Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER) (Deemed to be University) and the Indian Medical Association (IMA) on July 16 entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly offer the Executive Certificate Program in Advanced Healthcare Management (ECP-AHM) and other executive education initiatives aimed at strengthening leadership and managerial competencies among healthcare professionals.
The MoU signing ceremony was held at SRIHER in the presence of senior leadership from both institutions, marking the beginning of a strategic academic–professional collaboration to develop future-ready healthcare leaders capable of addressing the evolving challenges of the healthcare sector.
Through this collaboration, SRIHER and IMA will jointly design and deliver executive education programs that equip medical professionals, hospital administrators, healthcare entrepreneurs, and allied healthcare executives with contemporary knowledge in healthcare leadership, strategic management, healthcare finance, quality and accreditation, healthcare operations, digital transformation, business analytics, and emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence in healthcare.
The ceremony was graced by Dr. Uma Sekar, Vice-Chancellor, SRIHER; Dr. Mahesh Vakamudi, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Dr. S. Senthilkumar, Registrar, Dr. K. Balaji Singh, Dean, Medical College, and Dr. Selvam Jesiah, Principal, Faculty of Management Sciences, SRIHER. Representing the Indian Medical Association were Dr. B. Sridhar, State President, Dr. Thiraviam Mohan, State Secretary and Dr. T. N. Ravisankar, Past State President.
