TELUS Digital, a firm specializing in AI-powered digital customer experiences (CX) on July 8 announced it is partnering with the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru to advance cutting-edge research, propel AI breakthroughs, and prepare tomorrow’s digital workforce for modern challenges. Prof. Rajesh Sundaresan, Dean, Division of Electrical, Electronics, and Computer Sciences (EECS), IISc & Amith Nair, General Manager of AI Services Delivery at TELUS Digital, exchanged the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), formalizing the collaboration.
This partnership is expected to progress through multiple touchpoints including Co-creating innovation through joint R&D projects and technology development initiatives; building talent via workshops, training, skill development, internships, placements, and student assistantships; Fostering the exchange of researchers, students, publications, and expertise across both organizations and Driving impact through collaborative academic events and expert interactions
Under this collaboration, IISc researchers will work alongside TELUS Digital teams on live R&D projects, move through internships and assistantships with it. For TELUS Digital, the collaboration deepens its presence in one of the world’s most important markets for AI and engineering talent and represents a long-term commitment to advancing India’s innovation and technology leadership.

This partnership will facilitate converting scientific research into practical solutions that can be deployed.”
