Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, endorsed by the ICPC Foundation, has opened registrations for ICPC Algo Queen 2026, an international competitive programming competition exclusively for girls. School Girls: Grades 8 – 12 and College Girls: currently pursuing graduation/post-graduation.
The initiative, a competition, aims to encourage greater participation of young women in coding, problem-solving, and technology. Open to both school and college students, the competition is completely free and features a prize pool worth over ₹3 lakhs. Participants will also gain access to expert mentoring sessions focused on competitive programming, data structures, algorithms, and career guidance.
The previous edition witnessed participation from more than 5,000 students across 55 countries, highlighting the growing global reach of the initiative. A key highlight of ICPC Algo Queen 2026 is the opportunity for the school-level winner to attend the ICPC World Finals scheduled to be held in Dubai, UAE.
