MyCareernet, in partnership with AnitaB.org India, a part of the global non-profit AnitaB.org, and Backbase, have announced the launches the GHCI 25 hackathon as part of the Grace Hopper Celebration India (GHCI 25). The initiative invites students, professionals, and entrepreneurs from all backgrounds to reimagine what is possible with AI, offering a total prize pool of ₹3 lakh.
This year’s theme, “Unbound with GenAI: Breaking Barriers, Creating Impact,” celebrates the power of innovation and inclusivity in the world of AI. The hackathon is designed to inspire participants to push creative boundaries, explore the possibilities of generative AI, and transform ideas into real-world impact. It aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry needs through hands-on, mentored experiences that create real, impactful outcomes.
Participants will develop AI-driven solutions across five pivotal themes — Transaction Categorisation, Ethical AI, Social Impact, Financial Operations, and AI-driven KYC — each aimed at solving pressing challenges that shape a better, more inclusive digital future. With INR 3 lakh in prizes, access to internship and career opportunities with global tech leaders, and the chance to pitch live at GHCI 25, this hackathon offers a rare platform to innovate, collaborate, and build the next wave of AI breakthroughs.
