Focusing on bridging the divide between human resource management and data-driven decision-making, ISB Online, the digital learning arm of the Indian School of Business (ISB), has commenced Transforming HR with Analytics and AI programme in collaboration with Emeritus. This 16-week online programme equips participants with the expertise to take on strategic decision-making roles and drive meaningful impact using advanced tools and knowledge in HR analytics and AI.

This programme is designed for HR professionals who are eager to integrate technology into their HR practices, leveraging the latest data-driven strategies to enhance their impact. It is ideal for mid-senior managers and leaders seeking to upgrade their skills and step into leadership roles by acquiring expertise in HR analytics and AI. Additionally, it caters to HR professionals aiming to gain cutting-edge skills to excel in their current roles, enabling them to make data-driven decisions that optimise workforce management and drive organisational success.

Speaking on the commencement of the programme, Avnish Singhal, Executive Vice President, Head India & APAC, Emeritus, said, “As organisations increasingly rely on data to optimise workforce strategies, HR professionals must evolve beyond traditional people management. The industry is facing a critical gap—HR leaders often lack the data analytics skills necessary for impactful decision-making. Closing this gap is essential, not just for career advancement, but for organisations to harness the full potential of their talent and drive future growth.”

Delivered through pre-recorded videos for self-paced learning by globally renowned ISB faculty and complemented by live interactive fireside chats with ISB faculty and HR leaders, the programme offers an immersive learning experience. It features cutting-edge modules on AI and Generative AI in HR, in-depth training on the application of analytics across HR functions, and practical exposure to industry-relevant tools and technologies. Learners will gain hands-on experience through real-world business applications, case studies, and interactive product showcase sessions with platforms like Darwinbox, Deloitte, and StaffGenie. With live doubt-clearing sessions, assignments, quizzes, and a capstone project, the programme is designed to equip HR professionals with actionable insights and practical skills to lead in a tech-driven HR landscape.

Through this programme, participants will be able to:

  • Articulate the role of HR analytics for decision making
  • Explore AI and Generative AI to enhance HR decision-making processes
  • Explore evidence-based HR strategies to align with business goals
  • Learn data visualisation tools like Power BI and Tableau
