Vikalp India has announced the introduction of Social Emotional Learning (SEL) classes this academic session. Recognising that education extends beyond textbooks, the SEL program will cover five core areas: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making. Through these, students will learn to identify and manage their emotions, build empathy, develop healthy relationships, and make responsible decisions—skills that are essential for thriving in today’s dynamic world.
The sessions will integrate activities such as storytelling, role play, self-reflection, group discussions, and artistic expression to make learning interactive and relatable. Commenting on the launch of the SEL classes, Dinesh Gupta, Founder and CEO of Vikalp India, said “At Vikalp, we believe education is not just about academic excellence but about building resilient, emotionally intelligent, and empathetic individuals. Introducing SEL is a step towards nurturing these life skills early on. In a world driven by technology and constant change, emotional well-being and human connection will remain our greatest strengths.”
