Bengaluru-based Chaman Bhartiya School (CBS) is now officially authorized to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) for Grades 11 and 12.
This follows the earlier authorization of the Middle Years Programme (MYP) at the start of the 2024–2025 academic year, which currently extends up to Grade 10 (MYP 5). With the latest IBDP authorization, CBS joins the select group of schools in Bangalore offering a complete IB Pedagogy.
The IB DP is known for nurturing well-rounded, critical thinkers prepared for success in universities worldwide. As CBS opens admissions for DP1 in the academic year 2025–26, it reaffirms its mission to empower students with global perspectives, future-ready skills, and a deep sense of purpose. Through real-life projects and collaborative working, students build the confidence to lead, the curiosity to explore, and the skills to adapt in a fast-changing world.
Geeta Jayanth, Head of School at Chaman Bhartiya School said,“With the IB DP authorization for Grades 11 and 12, alongside our continued investment in advanced learning infrastructure like the AI and Robotics Lab, we are building an ecosystem that combines academic rigour with future-facing skills,”
Allan Anderson, Director of Chaman Bhartiya School, added, “The IB programme is a natural extension of our vision to shape globally aware, future-ready leaders. At CBS, the mix of IB and innovation helps students deal with challenges in a fast-changing world. We do hands-on projects, work in groups, and focus on things like technology. This way, we don’t just learn facts, but we also figure out how to use them in real life. It makes us better at solving problems and getting ready for the future.”
