JS Institute of Design (JSID), a knowledge partner at the Summit of School Principals: Maximizing Educational Leadership Competencies organized by the Institute of Counsellor Training Research and Consultancy (ICTRC) Private Limited, highlighted the importance of design education and its potential to launch fulfilling careers. The conference brought together 80+ school principals, headmistresses, and teachers across Delhi NCR.
Nien Siao, Dean of JSID, delivered a thought-provoking session on “Careers in Digital Design,” showcasing the vital role design education plays in fostering creativity, and innovation, while preparing students for a rewarding career. The Indian design industry is growing at a rate of 25% annually, giving rise to an increased demand for skilled designers. By merging industry-relevant skills with design principles, Ms. Nien Siao demonstrated how design education can be a catalyst for successful and fulfilling careers in the industry.
Speaking on career opportunities in digital design, Siao remarked, “Digital design is undergoing a rapid transformation, fueling an unprecedented demand for skilled designers who can create innovative, user-centric experiences.
